Ceres Library offers lots of fun activities

Community members are invited to visit the Ceres Library to enjoy free programs this May, beginning with a puzzle night on Monday, May 7 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. All ages are welcome to test their skill level with a variety of puzzles ranging in difficulty levels.

Preschool Story Time will be held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Story Times feature new and classic picture books, flannel board and puppet stories, fingerplays, music and dancing, for preschoolers ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers, however all ages are welcome.

Wiggle Worms will be offered on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Wiggle Worms is a special Story Time program designed for babies, active toddlers, and adult caregivers, however all ages are welcome to attend. Wiggle Worms features stories, lap bounces, music, dancing, rhythm activities, fingerplays and more.

Children can make a craft for Mother's Day on Thursday, May 10 at 3:30 p.m. Crafters will make special vases for their mothers.

Wee Move and Play will be held on Wednesday, May 16 at 11:30 a.m. Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to enjoy music, movement, and sensory play.

The library will offer a jellyfish craft on Thursday, May 17 at 3:30 p.m. The finished craft will feature an interactive jellyfish made using paper plates and assorted craft materials.

The Ceres Library Book Club will meet on Wednesday, May 23 at 11:30 a.m. Participants will discuss The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo.
