Ceres Street Faire parade planned

The Ceres Street Faire weekend is four months away but plans are underway to bring back the Ceres Street Faire Parade.
The parade will take place on the morning of Saturday, May 7 with groups meeting at Smyrna Park and marching southbound on Moffet Road, and turning westbound onto Whitmore Avenue. The judges stand and VIP seating area will be at the northwest corner of Whitmore and Moffet. The parade will finish on Fourth Street with some of the cars being entered into the Street Faire Car Show.

The cost of parade entries are $75 for politicians and office holders, $20 for businesses, and $20 for equestrians. There is no fee for non-profit organizations and school entries.
