The Rotary Club of Ceres honored Ceres High School Evelyn Navarro as a “Rotary Student of the Month” at its Friday meeting.

Evelyn was honored for her outstanding academic dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving her community.

Considered a true go-getter, Navarro is hardworking, reliable and motivated in all she pursues. She currently is vice president of the Future Latino Leaders club and treasurer for both the Asian American Pacific Islander club and the Class of 2026 through her involvement in Leadership. Her determination and organizational skills are evident in each role.

Academically, Evelyn is a standout, ranking in the top three of her class with a GPA above 4.3.

Beyond the classroom, she has dedicated over 200 volunteer hours at Doctors Medical Center, signaling her serious career aim of becoming a physician and dermatologist. To that end she plans to continue her education at a University of California (UC) campus.

Evelyn also demonstrates her leadership on the soccer field. As a team captain, she inspires her teammates with her perseverance and sportsmanship, reflecting the same qualities she brings to her academic and extracurricular activities.

Ceres Rotary and Ceres High are proud to recognize Evelyn Navarro as a Rotary Student of the Month, celebrating her as an accomplished student, dedicated leader, and role model who embodies service above self.
