The fourth "Coffee With A Cop" event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Thursday at Supermoms Frozen Yogurt inside the Richland Shopping Center at 2531 E. Whitmore Ave.

The last event was held in January at Farmer Boys restaurant.

The event is intended to generate positive police interaction with citizens.

Ceres police decided to start staging the coffee events as a way to allow community members to ask questions, share concerns, learn more about Ceres Police Department's work in Ceres neighborhoods, and get to know officers.The intent is to allow the informal contact increase trust in police officers as individuals.
