The Ceres School Board finalized contracts on Jan. 13 for four Ceres Unified School District administrators.

Agreements with Dan Pangrazio, Kristi Britton, Aneta Mikhael and Paul Rutishauser will be effective July 1.

“They’re very deserving of their positions,” said Board Trustee Mike Welsh. “They all have huge responsibilities. I’m sure they’re going to do a fantastic job.”

Pangrazio will be replacing the retiring Jay Simmonds as the assistant superintendent of Student Support Services. Pangrazio currently is CUSD’s assistant superintendent of Business Services. His new annual base salary as outlined in the three-year contract will be $187,243.

Simmonds is retiring following a 31-year career in education.

Britton will replace Pangrazio as the assistant superintendent of Business Services. She is currently the director of Special Education. Under her three-year contract Britton will be earning an annual base salary of $187,243.

Mikhael was awarded a two-year contact as she assumes the role of director of Special Education. She is currently employed as a program specialist. Her salary will be bumped to $153,395 annually.

Rutishauser, who will continue to serve as CUSD’s director of Secondary Education, was given a two-year contract with an annual base salary of $163,657.
