Stanislaus County Clerk-Recorder and Commissioner of Civil Marriages, Donna Linder, and staff invite engaged couples to join them as they perform marriage ceremonies on Halloween at the Clerk-Recorder Office at 1021 “I” Street in Modesto.
All ceremonies are individualized. The non-religious civil ceremonies will be conducted in English or Spanish by Linder and her staff. Guests are limited to 15 for each wedding. Ceremonies will start at 10 a.m. and run until 4 p.m., on Halloween, Friday, Oct. 31.
Marriage licenses must be purchased and appointments made in advance at the Clerk-Recorder’s Office at 1021 “I” Street in Modesto. Couples must sign up in advance. The cost of the license and ceremony is $121 or $126 for confidential marriage licenses.
“Couples planning to tie the knot on Halloween in 2025 should reserve their wedding without delay,” said Linder. “Halloween may seem a long way off, but for couples planning their wedding it’s just around the corner.”
