To help address the current shortage of personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Sutter Health Memorial Medical Center is accepting donations.
The Ceres Unified School District (CUSD) Student Support Services team answered the call with a generous donation of N95 healthcare respirator and surgical masks.
District Nurse Jennifer Given dropped off two large boxes of the protective equipment Friday morning at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
“Our healthcare professionals are on the frontline of combating the illness,” Ceres Unified Communications Specialist Beth Jimenez said. “If they don’t have the equipment they need to stay healthy, they can’t help others. CUSD had some extra masks we could spare while schools are closed.”
