Central Valley High School is holding its “Taking Flight” orientation and registration session for all grade levels attending the 2019-20 school year.

The event is set for Tuesday, Aug. 6. Students are being scheduled based on the following alphabetical order:

• Last names starting with A through Dh show up, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.;

• Di-Ll, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.;

• Lo-Rey, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.;

• Rf-Z, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Wait times for students and attending family could be longer if in line outside of the allotted designated time.

The following are mandatory forms to be completed and returned to the event, Without these forms students will not receive their schedule: student information sheet, pink medical form, lunch application (every student must turn one in); technology use policy; P.E. Exemption Form (11th grade only); and dance contract. It is important that a parent/guardian update and sign each form as requested .

Students who have any outstanding bills/fines on a bill should visit CVHS office and square away payment.

Students are urged to review the dress and grooming policies that will be in effect during the coming year and during “Taking Flight.” Students unable to attend “Taking Flight” may return the required paperwork  August 7-9 at the school office between 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
