Longtime teachers retiring from CUSD

The end of the 2014-15 school year is bringing a close to the careers of a number of teachers within the Ceres Unified School District.

The district reported the following staff members are retiring next month: Babette Alvernaz, Roland Calagos, John Christiansen, Carole Collins, Glenn Driskell, Steve Fabela. Al Fagundes, Mary Flynn, Jody Greger, Jaye Hatfield, Darlyn Hernandez, Linda Jolliff, Laurie Maldonado, Maury McCaffrey, Jeannie McDaniel, Mary Meusburger, Kathy Modgling, Debra Morgan, Thomas Morton, Michael Nicholoff, Laura Peirce, Carolyn Pickett, Eva Purkis, Alison Rafalovich, Brenna Rajewich, Lucy Redin, Lilia Rivera, Paula Rydalch, Rebecca Silva, Donna Snell, Allison Vetro-Rayford, Teva Weston and Linda Youngmayr.

Administrators who are retiring are Steve Fabela, the assistant superintendent of Business Services for the Ceres Unified School District (CUSD); and John Christiansen, the coordinator of Child Welfare & Attendance Department is also retiring.
