Security Public Storage is one of the most invisible businesses in Ceres, tucked away into the cul-de-sac of industrial Dale Court. But on Thursday morning it received some overdue public attention during a Ceres Chamber of Commerce mixer.
Onsite managers Emily Hobbs and Jaime Monnich hosted the event, offering donuts, and promotion products to those who attended. Some who turned out included Interim Police Chief Trenton Johnson, Ceres Police Sgt. Dirk Nieuwenhuis, and Japjeet Uppal, a member of the Livingston City Council who is being hired as a field representative by Stanislaus County Supervisor Channce Condit.
The Chamber regularly schedules mixers at members’ places of business as time allows.
Ceres is home to about eight public storage facilities with Security Public Storage being in business at 3032 Dale Court in Ceres for about 21 years.
Hobbs said the majority of the 415 units are filled. With 30 different sizes, the units range in dimension from 5’ x 5’ up to 20’ by 20’.
Family owned, Security Public Storage also has facilities on McHenry Avenue and Woodland Avenue in Modesto. The firm also is a U-Haul rental dealer.
