The City of Ceres Recreation Department will host its annual Trunk or Treat event, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Whitmore Park on Third Street.
This free, family-friendly event offers a safe and festive way for kids of all ages to enjoy Halloween. Community members will decorate their car trunks and booths in fun and creative themes and hand out candy to young trick-or-treaters. Costumes are encouraged for children and adults.
“We’re excited to bring the community together for a day of fun, creativity, and sweet treats,” said Recreation Supervisor Jessica Pulliam. “It’s a great alternative to traditional trick-or-treating, especially for families looking for a safe and welcoming environment.”
Offered will be:
• Dozens of decorated trunks with candy;
• Raffle prizes;
• Music, food and craft vendors;
• Halloween-themed activities;
• Bounce houses and more;
•A photo booth to capture all the spooky memories.
Admission is free, and all are welcome. Bring your family, friends, and Halloween spirit!
