Center for Human Services-Ceres Partnership and Cultiva La Salud are hosting a free dance therapy class for adults in Spanish Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Carroll Fowler Elementary School, 2611 Garrison Street, Ceres.
The purpose of the class is to increase access to physical activity at no cost. This purpose aligns with the larger purpose of the Cultiva La Salud, a three-year program of the Public Health Institute focused on creating programs to make living a healthy lifestyle easier in the Valley by increasing availability of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as options for physical activity.
Ceres Partnership has teamed up with Cultiva La Salud to help make a healthy lifestyle more accessible in the Ceres community.
Center for Human Services (CHS) is a local nonprofit providing services to youth and families throughout Stanislaus County. In Ceres, CHS operates Ceres Partnership, a one-stop shop for families in need. Through these critical services, members of the community can access services like school readiness for kids, parenting classes, emergency food and clothing assistance, counseling services and more. For those services that are not available, qualified and friendly staff can provide resource information and referrals. CHS is working in Ceres to assist families and equip them with the skills and resources they need to succeed.
