Stanislaus County Superior Court appoints new Judge Birmingham

Presiding Judge Sonny S. Sandhu announced the appointment of Sarah Birmingham to serve as a Judge in the Stanislaus County Superior Court. She fills the vacancy created by the passing of Judge Ann Q. Ameral. 

Birmingham, a long-time resident of Stanislaus County, brings over two decades of legal experience to the bench. Since 2020, she has been the owner and solo practitioner at Sarah Birmingham Law. Prior to that, she was an Attorney at Gianelli & Associates from 2013 to 2020, and an Associate at Curtis Legal Group from 2004 to 2012. Her legal career began as a staff attorney at California Rural Legal Assistance from 2002 to 2004. She earned her juris doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. 

“Welcoming Sarah Birmingham to the Stanislaus County Superior Court is an honor,” said Judge Sandhu. “Her extensive legal experience and dedication to justice strengthen our commitment to ensuring fair and impartial justice for all.”

Expressing her gratitude, Ms. Birmingham stated, “I am honored to join the Stanislaus County Superior Court and humbled by the trust placed in me. Throughout my career, I have been committed to serving our community with integrity and fairness, and I look forward to continuing that service from the bench.”
