Supervisor Chiesa to deliver annual address March 2

Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors Chairman Vito Chiesa will present the “State of the County” address on Tuesday, March 2. The speech by Chiesa will lead the public Board of Supervisors meeting, with regular business to follow.

 The theme of this year’s “State of the County” address will center on the theme of resiliency and highlight challenges and achievements of the county in the past year. 

 The speech will be presented at the 9 a.m. in the basement Board Chambers at 1010 10th Street in Modesto.  A live stream of the address may also be viewed online at http://www.stancounty.com/sclive/

 In addition, the address will be broadcast live on local cable television.  A list of local cable channels are available at the following website: http://www.stancounty.com/board/broadcasting-schedule.shtm

 A transcript will be made available in Spanish and English. 

Effective June 22, 2020, pursuant to the order issued by Governor Newsom and consistent with guidance issued by the California Department of Public Health, social distancing and face coverings are required for in person attendance. The chamber’s audience seating capacity will be limited to approximately 30 persons. Additional seating will be available in the overflow room.
