A funeral service was held Friday at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Ada Merle York Hall, 74, of Turlock. She died Sept. 20, 2007 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.

Born in 1932, Mrs. Hall was a native of Bloodland, Mo., and had lived in the Hughson and Turlock area all of her life. She attended both Hughson and Turlock schools. With her late husband, Morry Hall they owned and operated Hall Jewelry's in Turlock. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Eastern Star and First Christian Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. She immensely enjoyed her family.

She leaves behind two children, Robert W. Hall of Seattle, Wash., and Dianne Larson of Turlock; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Hall, five sisters and her brother.
