A funeral was held Tuesday at Allen Mortuary for Alfred Eugene Beshears, 53, of Fairbanks, Alaska. He died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004 at his home.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born Nov. 13, 1950, Mr. Beshears was a native of Idabel, Okla., and was raised in Ceres. He lived in Fairbanks since 1994. Mr. Beshears was a self-employed fisherman, and enjoyed goldpanning as a hobby.
He leaves behind three children, Jeremiah Beshears of New Mexico, Selena Mejia of Turlock Keith Stoller of California and Rhonda Williams of Florida; three brothers, Carl Beshears of Springtown, Texas, Wayne Beshears of Checotah, Okla., and Ruben Beshears of California; six sisters, Nervalla Ash of Corvallis, Ore., Earlene Adams of Joplin, Mo., Wanda Hamilton of Brownsville, Glenda Childress of Buffalo, Mo., and Janet Bryant and Debbie Monk, both of Modesto; and eight grandchildren.
