Allene Miller

May 11, 1937 - Dec. 19, 2016

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21 at Ceres Christian Church, 3502 Roeding Road in Ceres, for Allene Miller who passed away peacefully in Hau'ula, Hawaii.

Born in Sanger, Allene attended Clovis High school in Fresno as well as Bible College in San Jose. Allene served her Lord Jesus Christ as a faithful and devoted missionary teacher at Sunset Beach Christian School in Hawaii for 50 years. The love she showed to her families was a manifestation of her love for Christ. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Siuaki (Fusi) Livai of Hawaii; three sisters, Phyllis Whitworth, Betty (Marvin) Laffery, Barbara (Joe) Belsito; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Philip and Allie Miller.
