A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at the
Empire Assembly of God Church for Andrew Floyd Shank, 45, of Empire. He died Jan. 28, 2010 at his home.
Allen Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Born Nov. 10, 1965 in Modesto, Mr. Shank was the son of the late Lawrence and Helen Shank. He enjoyed playing Santa Claus and dressing up as a clown for the children, he also enjoyed crafts and music. He was a 10-year member of the Ceres Masonic Lodge and also belonged to the Empire Assembly of God Church.
He leaves behind his wife, Joyce Shank of Empire; and two brothers, Russell Shank of Delhi and Arthur Lawrence Shank of Washington.
Remembrances may be sent to the Shriners Hospital For Children-Northern California, 2425 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95817.
