A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Hughson for Charles Vernon Counts, 79, of Hughson. He died Aug. 5, 2007.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24 at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella. Evins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Counts was born on May 26, 1928.
He leaves behind four children, Darlene, Georgia, Charla, Tim Counts of Hughson; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
