A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Temple for Daniel Jake Zuniga, 5, of Ceres. He died July 24, 2012 at the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco following a lengthy illness.
Following the service there will be a reception at Smyrna Park in Ceres.
Born Nov. 20, 2006 with a heart condition, Daniel spent his short life in and out of the hospital. He attended Walter White Elementary School and was going to be in the first grade. He was a little character and had a heart of gold.
He leaves behind his mother, Delilah Fatheree of Ceres; his grandparents, Scott and Cynthia Fatheree of Ceres; his aunt, Klaressa Fatheree of Ceres; his uncle, Scott Fatheree Jr., of Ceres; and his great-grandparents, Orlie and Norma Arredondo of Ceres.
The family would appreciate those attending the service bringing children's toys and books, etc. to donate to UCSF Childrens Hospital in memory of Daniel.
