A funeral service was held Saturday at Waterford Baptist Church for former Ceres resident Deborah K. Parker Smith, 43, of Don Pedro. She died Jan. 7, 2008 at Sonora Regional Medical Center.
Burial was at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon under the direction of Heuton Memorial Chapel in Sonora.
Born Sept. 11, 1964 in Ceres, Deborah was raised in the Ceres area. She had been a resident of Lake Don Pedro for the past four years. She was a homemaker and member of Lake Don Pedro Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, boating, animals, and the outdoors.
She leaves behind her husband, Wess Smith of Lake Don Pedro; her two children, Parker Wesley Smith and Hailee Renee Smith, both of Lake Don Pedro; her parents, Bob and Louise Parker of Ceres; her brother, Steve Parker of Ceres; two sisters, Carol Cooksey of Lake Don Pedro and Peggy Bach of Texas; and her grandmother, Pauline Parker of Modesto.
