A Mass was held Friday at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres for Donaciano Rojos Jara, 77, of Modesto. He died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 at Doctors Medical Center.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of private burial at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
Born May 24, 1927, Mr. Jara was a native of Totatiche, Jalisco, Mexico, and lived in the Ceres- South Modesto since 1952. He was a plant mechanic for 30 years at S&W Fine Foods. Mr. Jara was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres, and enjoyed travel.
He leaves behind two children, Ralph Carlos Jara of Modesto and Adan Jose Jara of Ceres; his brother, Narciso Jara of San Juan Capistrano; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosalina J. Sifunetes.
