Donald Wayne Calton

A funeral service was held Saturday at Celebration Center in Modesto for Donald Wayne Calton, 67, of Modesto. He died Dec. 20, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.

Born April 2, 1942 in Pueblo, Colo., Donald was moved to Modesto as a child. He attended Ceres High School. Mr. Calton was an owner-operator truck driver for over 40 years. He traveled in all the states but two. Don was a member of Celebration Center in Modesto. He enjoyed fishing and sports especially the San Francisco 49ers. He enjoyed worshiping God, good food and spending time with family.

He leaves behind three daughters, Denise McCauley and Nicole Hammond, both of Modesto, and Nanette Barlow of Riverbank; his brother, Robert Calton of Ceres; his sister, Kathy Reyes of Modesto; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by parents Lenzy Blaine & Madeline Calton.
