A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Edna Sue Chalupnik, 51, of Hughson. She died May 30, 2012 as a result of ovarian cancer.
Visitation will be in the Riverside Chapel from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday.
Following the graveside service there will be a memorial service at New Life Christian Center, 2918 West Tuolumne Rd., Turlock.
Born July 21, 1960 in Oakdale to William and Violet Davenport and resided in Hughson, CA. She met Larry Chalupnik in church and they were married on July 30, 1988. They had two children, Keith and Breanna. Edna loved her family so very much and children were very special to her. She enjoyed the coast and the mountains and especially gatherings with family and friends. Her biggest joy was her relationship with her Lord Jesus.
She leaves behind her husband Larry Chalupnik of Hughson; her children, Keith and Breanna; her father, William Davenport; her brothers, William Davenport Jr. of Waterford and James Davenport of Turlock; and two sisters, Jean Fowler of Modesto and Ruth Davenport of Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet Davenport.
