A graveside service was held Friday at Chowchilla District Cemetery for Elsie Gray McLemore Roan, 90, of Ceres. She died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at Vintage Faire Convalescent Hospital in Modesto.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born July 11, 1913, Mrs. Roan was a native of Sulligent, Ala., and had lived in Ceres since 1988. Mrs. Roan was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, gardening, sewing, knitting and reading.
She leaves behind two daughters, Linda Adams of Ceres and Delories Still of Miami, Okla.; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
