A funeral service was held Friday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel for Eric Edward Sorensen, 45, of Ceres. He died March 8, 2008 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born Feb. 8, 1963, Mr. Sorenson enjoyed and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing and being a kid at heart.
He leaves behind his wife, Ashley Suttle of Ceres; three children, Sarah Jane Sorensen and Rebeccah Ann Sorensen, both of Newport, Ore., and James Albert Sorensen of Ceres; two sisters, Susan Diaz Lapham of Omaha, Neb., Stacie Microsh of Horn Lake, Miss.; his mother, Carla Edwards of Hughson; his father, Nils Sorensen of Idaho; and his stepfather, Albert Edwards of Hughson.
