Erma Nadine Johnson
A funeral service was held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Erma Nadine Johnson, 75, of Ceres. She died Sept. 12, 2009 in Hughson.

Born Nov. 26, 1933 in Missouri to Elza and Gladys Williams, Erma graduated from Deering High School in Senatha, Mo. She and husband Harold moved to California in 1952 and settled in Ceres. She retired from Turlock Irrigation District after a long career. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed cruises and went to several locations with her family. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and had a passion for cooking. Erma was a member of Calvary Temple of Modesto

She leaves behind two sons Kelley Johnson of Ceres, and Ronald Johnson of Modesto; her mother, Gladys Williams of Ceres; her sister, Louise McBride of Ceres; and her brother, Dennis Williams of Denair. She was preceded in death by father Elza Williams and husband Harold Butler Johnson.
