A graveside service was held Monday at Ceres Memorial Park for Ethel Ora Ragan Thomas, 95, of Ceres. She died on Friday, Dec. 24, 2004 at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks in Salisbury, N.C.
Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born Aug. 3, 1909, Mrs. Thomas was a native of Lucas, S.D., and had lived in Ceres since 1983. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Modesto. Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She leaves behind three children, Gary D. Thomas of Studio City, Gloria L. Ziegel of Modesto and Mary K. McCoy of Salisbury, N.C.; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Thomas; and son Charles R. Thomas Jr.
