A funeral was held Monday at Eaton Family Funeral Home for Geraldine Marie "Gerri" Morris Killion, 71, of Ceres. He died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
A graveside service was held Tuesday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
Born Dec. 31, 1932, Mrs. Killion was a native of Cambridge, Mass., and lived in Ceres for 19 years. She drove a school bus for Storer Transportation in Modesto for 16 years. Mrs. Killion also worked as a surgical room technician at Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa for 10 years. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Mrs. Killion leaves behind her husband, Stanley J. Killion of Ceres; five children, Ronald Fontes of Eagan, Minn., Alan Killion, Mark Killion and Tonya Elliott, all of Fayetteville, Ark., and Cathleen Dunckel of Copperopolis; her brother, Bovey Eachus of Modesto; and 12 grandchildren.
