A chapel service was held Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Guillermo Balderas, 57, of Ceres. He died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006 at home.
Born Oct. 14, 1948, Mr. Balderas was a native of San Jose and lived in Ceres for 15 years and previously lived in San Jose for 32 years. He was a draftsman who enjoyed the Impala Car Club and fishing.
He leaves behind two children, Michael Balderas of Ceres and Monica Jamie Balderas of San Jose; three brothers, Henry Balderas of Oklahoma, and Gastavo Balderas and George Balderas, both of Ceres; three sisters, Dora Franco of San Francisco, Mary Middlestead of San Jose and Pauline Phelan of Texas; and three grandchildren.
