A Memorial Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Samaritan Village Chapel in Hughson for Hilda Bettencourt, 82 of Hughson. She died Feb. 3, 2009 at her home.
Burial will be at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella at a later date.
Born in 1926, Mrs. Bettencourt was a native of Modesto where she was raised. She resided in Pismo Beach during her retirement years with her husband before moving to Hughson.
She leaves behind two daughters, Deborah Bettencourt of Hickman, and Michelle Bettencourt of Concord; and her sister, Eva Bondshu of Modesto. She was preceded in death by husband Albert Bettencourt, daughter Linda Bettencourt, her parents and an older brother and sister.
