A funeral service was held Sunday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Jagir K. Johal, 85, of Ceres. She died May 25, 2007 in her Ceres home.

Born Dec. 22, 1922, Mrs. Johal was a native of India and came to the United States in 1976, making her home in Ceres. Mrs. Johal enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She leaves behind five daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
