Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service was in charge of arrangements for James Clark Miner, 70, of Modesto. The former Ceres resident died April 12, 2008 of lung cancer at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
Born April 5, 1938, Jim was the son of Carl and Margaret Miner, who owned Miner's Clothing Store on Fourth Street. He attended local schools and graduated from Ceres High School, Class of 1957. Jim also grew up attending the Ceres Methodist Church.
He leaves behind two daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents.
