A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22 at New Beginnings Church, 503 Scenic Drive, Modesto for Janell Ryan, 52, of Ceres. She died Oct. 20, 2009.
Born Feb. 28, 1957 in Montebello, Mrs. Ryan lived in Ceres since 1978. She was a bookkeeper and tax preparer for Sahlstrom's Tax Service in Ceres for many years. Janell had been a faithful volunteer at Delta Blood Bank since 2002. Mrs. Ryan had served on the Ceres Christian Terrace board of directors as secretary for six years. Later she became a resident of the facility. Janell was a very active in New Beginnings Church.
She leaves behind two brothers, Steve Ryan and Don Ryan; and her godson, Jonathan Humphreys of Ceres.
