A memorial gathering will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the home of Kathy Baldwin Pires, 1716 Tartarian Way, Ceres, for Jeffrey L. Baldwin, 48, of Ceres. He died Feb. 5, 2012.
Born Aug. 1, 1963 in Modesto, Jeff was the son of James and Norma Baldwin Sherrill. He was known for many years of playing baseball for George Costa and Ceres Youth Baseball where he made lifelong friends.
He leaves behind his children, Lacey Webster of Florida and Shannondoah Baldwin of Idaho; his father, James Baldwin of Texas; his mother, Norma Baldwin Sherrill of Ceres; his sister, Kathy Baldwin Pires of Ceres; three brothers, Mike Baldwin of Texas, Ken Baldwin of Ceres, and Billy Jack Baldwin of Paradise; and two grandchildren.
