The rosary was held Thursday at St. Jude's Catholic Church for Jessica Marie Solis, 12, of Ceres. She died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento.
A service was held Friday at the church.
Born April 29, 1992, Jessica was a native and lifelong resident of Ceres. She was a student. She was on the Falcons cheerleading team and was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. Jessica enjoyed cheerleading, singing, dancing and dogs.
She leaves behind her parents, Jesse and Cynthia Solis of Ceres; two sisters, Nicki Y. Solis of Ceres and Michelle M. Chavez of Fresno; and her grandmothers, Consuelo Cervantez of Fowler and Mary L. Solis of Delano. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Florencio S. Cervantez and Juan Solis; and one sister.
