A funeral was held Thursday at Allen Mortuary for Jesus Nunez, 53, of Keyes. He died Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born June 1, 1951, Mr. Nunez was a native of Durango, Mexico, and lived in Keyes for 18 years. In 1987, he owned a retail business, Rainbow Fabrics. Mr. Nunez enjoyed swimming.
He leaves behind his wife, Roselia Nunez of Keyes; four daughters, Evelyn Hernandes, Crystal Nunez and Kimberly Nunez, all of Keyes, and Jocelyn Nunez of Turlock; his mother, Belem Hernandez of Mexico; and three brothers, Ismael Nunez, Javier Nunez and Ricardo Nunez, all of Mexico; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Ismael Nunez; and one sister.
