A memorial service was held Saturday at Airport Assembly of God Church in Modesto for Rev. Jimmy Don Freeman, 62, of Hathaway Pines. He died unexpectedly on June 16, 2012 during a fishing trip in Alaska.
Born Aug 24, 1949 in Oakdale, Jim lived most of his life in Ceres. He was a pastor of CROSS Ministries.
He leaves behind his wife, Judy Freeman; his children, Dr. Elijah Freeman, Gabriel Freeman, Archie Champion and Stephanie Perry; his mother, Ladean Thomas; three brothers, Joe Freeman, Danny Freeman and Tim Freeman; two sisters, Ruthie and Judy; and three granddaughters.
