A Mass was held Monday morning at St. Jude's Catholic Church for Jose M. Cazares, 65, of Ceres. He died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005 at Evergreen Rehabilitation Care Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs.
Born Aug. 24, 1940, Mr. Cazares was a native of Agililla, Michoacn, Mexico, and lived in Ceres for 45 years. He worked in agriculture for 45 years. Mr. Cazares was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres. He belonged to the CB Club.
Mr. Cazaes leaves behind his wife, Maria P. Cazares of Ceres; two children, Catarino Cazares of Chino and Jose Cazares of Ceres; his brother, Tobias Cazares of Hughson; five sisters, Lupe Revuelta of Modesto, Anita Solario of Hughson, and Elena Gomez, Merced Garcia and Carmen Way, all of Mexico; and seven grandchildren.
