Julian Max Benthall

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Julian "Tennessee" Max Benthal, 79, of Ceres. He died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.

Born Aug. 4, 1928, Mr. Bethall was a native of Milan, Tenn., and was a Ceres resident since age six. He retired after spending 30 years working for Collins Electric. He spent his retirement years traveling, and being at home with family and friends and taking care of his yard.

He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Betty Bethall of Ceres; his daughters, Alison Benthall of Elk Grove and Lisa Terry of Hughson; and two grandsons, Clayton Terry and Dylan Terry, both of Hughson.
