A memorial service was held Friday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Katherine Elizabeth Boggs, 83, of Ceres. She died Feb. 8, 2011.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Katherine was born March 12, 1927 in Knoxville, Tenn.
She leaves behind six children, Patricia Mattos of Newark, Floyd Boggs of Mississippi, Cathy Tucker of Modesto, and Lorene DeAnda, Jack Boggs and Wanda Boggs, all of Ceres; her sister, Lousie Ragon; and 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Lawrence Boggs, daughters Rebecca Yeager and Dolores Correa and brothers Jackie and J.D. Stevens.
