A funeral was held Saturday morning at Lakewood Funeral Home for Kenneth James Gann, 75, Hughson. He died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Born March 11, 1929, Mr. Gann was a native of Conway, Mo., and lived in Hughson for 67 years. He owned and operated Ken's Garage in Hughson from 1962 to 1974. Mr. Gann was a charter member of AmBASS-adors Fishing Club and a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and fixing and reselling cars. Mr. Gann was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He leaves behind his wife, Virginia Gann of Hughson; two children, Billy Gann and Glenda Szuggar, both of Hughson; her brother, Melvin Gann of Hughson; two sisters, Mildred Bell and Evelyn Gann, both of Hughson; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
