A graveside service was held Tuesday morning at Lakewood Memorial Park for Lorene Lelieur, 79, of Hughson. She died Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale.
Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born Jan. 6, 1925, Mrs. Lelieur was a native of Tiawah, Okla., and lived in Hughson for eight years. She previously lived in Valley Home from 1968 to 1996. Mrs. Lelieur was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, travel and shopping. She also served as treasurer for Denair Happy Hour Senior Citizens and Bright Horizons in Turlock.
She leaves behind three children, Larry Hagens of Turlock, Wanda Rush of Hughson and Carolyn Fair of Denair; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lelieur.
