A funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at Allen Mortuary for Mangal Singh, 70, of Turlock. The former Ceres resident died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005 at his home. A cremation service will follow.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Born Sept. 5, 1934, Mr. Singh was a native of India and had lived in Turlock since 1999 and previously had lived in Ceres since 1991. He worked in residential construction in for 11 years. Mr. Singh was a farmer in India. He was a member of the Sikh Temple.
He leaves behind his wife, Swran Kaur of Turlock; four children, Makhan Singh, Jaswinder Kaur and Gurdial Kaur, all of Turlock, and Barjit Kaur of Selma; and 15 grandchildren.
