Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today with a rosary being held at 6:30 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 709 J Street, Modesto, for Margaret Ann Zarco, 82, of Ceres. She died on May 2, 2012 surrounded by family.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Burial will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery under direction of the Colonoal Chapel of Franklin & Downs.

Born July 20, 1929, Margaret grew up in Manteca and was a hairdresser. Margaret married Samuel Zarco, the love of her life, and together they had Eloisa and Sammy. She often helped those in need. Her love for God and others all was endless and her spirit and sense of humor was amazing.

She leaves behind her daughter, Eloise Zarco of Ceres; her brothers, Jesus "Jess" Vielma of Manteca, Frank Vielma of Stockton, Victor Vielma of Manteca, Blaz Vielma of Manteca and David Vielma of Manteca; three grandchildren, Lucy Perez of Ceres, and Amanda Perez and Alberto Perez, both of Modesto; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Samuel Zarco, parents Felipe and Eloisa Vielma, son Samuel P. Zarco and siblings Philip Vielma and Ruth Gutierrez.
