A funeral service was held Tuesday at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Ceres for Margaret Nesan, 59, of Modesto. She died last week.
Born in February, 1950 in Iraq to Sargis and Daisy Shallou, Margaret settled in Modesto in 1981, and married Wilson Nesan. She worked for Tri-Valley Growers, then 7-Eleven for several years before she became self employed at Quick Mart in Modesto for 15 years. Mrs. Nesan belonged to St. Matthew Catholic Church in Ceres.
She leaves behind her husband, Wilson Nesan of Modesto; two children, Bernadet and George Nesan, both of Modesto; her siblings, Annie Abrahim of Chicago, Ill., Elizabeth Warda of London, Simon Shallou of London and Shamiran Ganja of Modesto; and her parents, Sargis and Daisy Shallou of Modesto;
