A celebration of life was held Saturday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Ceres for Mark Richesin, 50, of Don Pedro. He died last month at Mercy Hospital in Merced.
Born in July 1960 in Stockton to Carl and Carol Richesin, Mark later moved to the Modesto area. In 1983, Mark became employed at the Weyerhaeuser Paper Co., where he worked 27 years. In 1992, Mark married Sandra Morris and in 2000 they moved to La Grange. Mark enjoyed hunting, baseball, and spending time with and vacationing with family members and friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Sandy Richesin of Lake Don Pedro; his sons, Mark Richesin II of Modesto, Craig Maines of Ceres, Jeremy Maines of North Pole, Alaska, and Benny Maines of Turlock; four grandchildren, Landon Richesin, Kylie Maines, Aiden Maines and Johnny Maines; and his parents, Carl and Carol Richesin.
