A Celebration of Life was held Monday at Calvary Temple Worship Center in Modesto for Martin "Goo-Goo" Anthony Martinez, 44, of Ceres. He died July 4, 2011 surrounded by his family.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born Oct. 31, 1966 in Modesto, Martin attendedlocal schools, First Apostolic Christian Academy and graduated from Modesto High School in 1984. He attended California Stanislaus State University and Oral Roberts University of Tulsa, Okla. The love of his life was music and playing the piano. Martin loved to sing and was an outstanding dancer.
He leaves behind his parents, Ruben and Betty Martinez of Ceres; his brothers, Ruben Martinez Jr. of Modesto, Marcus Martinez Sr. (a twin); and his sister, Bellia Martinez-Lloyd of Ceres.
