A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24 at First Pentecostal Church of God, 1850 Hatch Rd., Ceres, for Mary Dorene Smith, 79, of Ceres. She died March 16, 2010.

The McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith was born July 6, 1930.

She leaves behind her husband, Rev. Lowell Smith; four children, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
