Michael Lynn Barton

Michael Lynn Barton, son of Wilmer C. and Sarah (Garber) peacefully exchanged time for eternity July 20, 2025 at the age of 79 years. After many transfusions and a blood condition unable to be diagnosed, the Lord peacefully closed his eyes in the quietness of the early morning hours in his home.

He was married to Naomi Bauman for 58 years. To this union was born: Heather Fultz (James), Michael (Lisa Brubaker), Heidi Young (Aaron), and Jennifer Shellabarger (Zane), 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

In 1973, be started Barton Overhead Door out of his barn in Ceres, moving it to Carpenter Road, Modesto in 1984.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday July 24 at the Old German Brethren Church Modesto District Meeting House, 2866 West Rumble Road, Modesto. Funeral services will be Friday, July 25 at the Old German Brethren Church West Modesto District Meeting House, 6330 Covert Road, Modesto, at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at the Wood Colony Cemetery. All are welcome.
